Hi Thurday & Hi Readers.
Knocked off after work, had mac for dinner (cravings for nuggets for no reasons)
1 week of teaching in pri school, and overall, I do enjoy it.
Teaching is my ambition since young.
I remembered when I was really little, since 4yrs old, I've always wanted to become a educator.
Role played as a teacher at home and imaginary friends are my students.
As I grew up in poly, started off as teacher assistant, moving on and become a teacher in various private & gov schools....
5yrs has passed & my passion are still burning:)
My little ones role played me at home (being a teacher) and sharing with me their little role paying stories in class.
They really aspired me to become a role model, being a respectable educator in which they would like to grow up and become as.
Education line is a life time career, it's fulfilling and challenging.
It can be really exhausting (but which job is not tiring?)
It's like signing on a career, and you can never quit. (just like signing up airforce/ns/navy)
So before enrolling yourself into this career, ask yourself if you know what you are signing up for?
And what makes you to do?
It's a bond which you should never thought of quitting.
For me, I appreciate the process of enriching the children, equipping them with knowledge, moral values and skills, which are the duties of what a school & teachers should do.
From what I've seen so far, I've came to realize that there are different set of techniques to discipline children of different ages.
Kinder Kids: You can play with them, and when they did something wrong just give them a starry stare, sometimes a slight scolding & they will stop .
Pri Kids: Have to give a black fierce to them all day long, at this age, they are really mischievous and will climb on top of your head if they have any chance to do so. So never let your guards down.
Sec Kids: Be bff with them. Learn to understand them. As teenagers, they would really hope to have someone, who is able to listen and understand them. That's the way to deal with rebellious kids.
Punishment is never the right way. Hear them out & to understand them, be their friends, and not enemies, eventually they will let you enter their world.
My tough days has gone.
Diploma & Degree days, have to juggle between academic and work.
Especially during degree days, financial issues has caused me to take up most of my time working than studying.
Taking up kinder classes to teach during almost daily and neglected my studies.
Kind of flung my final year & finally I'm here.
Went through all the tough times.
Right now, all I need is to focus on just purely one thing: work
no more studies (ahhhhhh ....)
